Schloss Lichtenstein is a palace located in Southern Germany, in Baden - Württemberg region. Located on the Schwäbische Alb mountain range, its origins date back to the nineteenth century, when it moved to its new location the old castle of Lichtenstein (Alt-Lichtenstein). From a height of 817 meters, overlooking the valley of the river Echaz. The castle originally belonged to the family Württemberg but for decades belongs to the family Urach.

On the first floor of the castle are the armoury, a small chapel with stunning stained glass windows from the XV and XVI, medieval paintings and a cozy room with tables for drinks and murals. On the second floor we find a room rich in armourial paintings and the room of the bay with is richly decorated with medieval furniture. Later we enter the hall of the knights, the castle's largest room, the walls are covered with wood paneling and the ceiling is painted with extraordinary finesse.
